Iran launched missiles at American bases in the region in response to earlier Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon, according to reports from the Hezbollah-affiliated channel Abu Ali Express. Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan announced activation of air defense systems against Iranian missile and drone attacks. Kuwait's army general staff said its air defenses engaged 'hostile aerial targets.' Sirens sounded in Bahrain and its interior ministry called on residents to enter shelters. Jordan's military reported intercepting five missiles near the al-Azraq area with no casualties or damage.
