Iran's Saberin news channel published a list of US and allied bases allegedly attacked today in the Middle East, including the Prince Hussein base in Jordan, Al Udeid base in Qatar, Sheikh Khalifa port in Kuwait, the US Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain, and Al Duqm port in Oman. The claims are unverified and come amid a series of reports from Iranian sources about strikes on US installations.
Iran's state-linked Saberin News channel on Sunday published a detailed list of US and allied military installations it claims were struck earlier in the day, including Prince Hussein base in Jordan, Al Udeid base in Qatar, Sheikh Khalifa port in Kuwait, the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, and Al Duqm port in Oman. The list is the latest in a series of unverified claims from Iranian sources about attacks on American forces in the region, and consolidates targets that have been reported throughout the morning.
The claims began at 05:34 Jerusalem, when a security channel reported that Iranian missiles were aimed at US Fifth Fleet ships in Bahrain. By 08:10 Jerusalem, a report said Iran had struck US installations in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar after US strikes on over 100 Iranian targets. At 10:04 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported an unverified claim that the Iranian regime had bombed the same five bases — Prince Hussein, Al Udeid, Sheikh Khalifa, the Fifth Fleet, and Al Duqm — overnight and this morning. The Saberin list now published consolidates those alleged targets.
The Zioneer has previously reported on similar Iranian claims. On June 11, Iran claimed strikes on US bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan in a second wave. On July 9, the IRGC announced joint air and sea strikes on five US installations in Kuwait and Bahrain, and later that day claimed attacks on bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, and Qatar. US officials have dismissed these assertions as "completely untrue."
The veracity of the claimed attacks remains unclear. No independent confirmation has emerged from the affected countries or US Central Command. The report also includes a claim that Saudi Arabia agreed to pay billions in protection money, which remains unverified.
