TL;DR

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps published video footage Sunday morning showing missiles launched overnight toward Bahrain and Kuwait, stating the strikes were in retaliation for US attacks in southern Iran. The footage includes a message on one missile taunting US losses. The claim is from a single IRGC source; no independent confirmation of impact or damage has been reported.

01 · THE DISPATCH

Early Sunday, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released footage purporting to show missiles launched overnight toward Bahrain and Kuwait. The video, published via the IRGC's official the source at around 11:00 Jerusalem, is the first visual documentation the IRGC has offered for its claims of strikes on US-linked targets in the Gulf. A painted message on one missile taunts US losses in what the IRGC calls a "war of defeat." The IRGC says the strikes were retaliation for US attacks in southern Iran.

The footage is the latest in a rapid series of IRGC pronouncements on the same operation. At 03:40 Jerusalem, the IRGC first announced a combined missile and drone strike on eight US military facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain, naming Ali al-Salem Air Base and the Fifth Fleet headquarters at Salman Port. Over the next several hours, it reiterated the claim three more times — each published at 03:40 Jerusalem — adding details about the number of targets and a warning of harsher action on Strait of Hormuz passage. A fifth version, also timestamped 03:40, framed the operation as joint naval and aerospace forces action. All of these statements came from a single IRGC source without independent confirmation, as The Zioneer reported each time.

The IRGC's broader pattern of making unverified claims about Gulf strikes this month frames the new footage: As The Zioneer reported on June 11, the IRGC asserted 18 US military targets were hit overnight; that claim also lacked corroboration. An unverified video from Zanjan the same day appeared to show launches toward US bases. On June 10, the IRGC released footage of solid-fuel missile launches targeting US assets and separately claimed a strike on US forces departing Bahrain.

No official US, Bahraini, or Kuwaiti comment on missile impacts, interceptions, or damage has been published. The IRGC's video and statement remain the sole basis for the report; no independent assessment of casualties is available.
