The victim, identified by N12 as Ziad Bishara, a resident of Tira, was killed in what police suspect is an ongoing blood feud. Initial reports of the shooting emerged at approximately 21:25 Jerusalem time on Wednesday, with Magen David Adom reporting that a 57-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene with penetrating injuries. Shortly after, Channel 12 reported that police suspect the murder stems from an ongoing blood feud. By 21:25, N12 journalist Adar Gitzis identified the victim as Ziad Bishara, linking the killing to the murder of his wife Susan 18 months earlier.
Police have not yet announced any arrests or identified suspects. The investigation into the circumstances of the murder is ongoing.
