The identification comes after The Zioneer reported at 21:25 Jerusalem that a man was shot dead in the central Israeli Arab town, with police suspecting an ongoing blood feud.
The initial reports at 21:25 Jerusalem from MDA confirmed a 57-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. By the same time, police had stated they suspect the murder stems from a blood feud. The identification of Bishara, whose wife was also killed in what police linked to clan violence, strengthens that theory.
The Zioneer has previously reported on the cycle of violence in Arab Israeli communities. In June, a 19-year-old was shot dead in Tayibe in a family feud, and in another incident, family members were seen washing blood from a crime scene minutes after a murder. A drive-by terror attack near Tayibe in June also highlighted the region's security challenges.
The murder of Susan Bishara remains unsolved, and it is not yet clear whether the two killings are directly linked or part of a broader feud. Police continue to investigate.
