Israel Police earlier issued an arrest warrant for Aliyah Joy Hirschberg, 20, a dual Israeli-Canadian citizen. According to police, the father, a Canadian citizen, hired a private investigator after losing contact with his children. The investigation led to the warrant. Hirschberg and her children — Tala Raizel, 3, and Nathan Yaakov Vorona, 1 — entered Israel in August 2025 and have been untraceable since, police said.
Police believe the mother and children may be in the Jerusalem area and have appealed to the public for information. The investigation is being handled by the Jerusalem District's Lev HaBira station.
