The fire, reported around 20:42 Jerusalem, comes roughly 20 hours after the initial strike. The cause of the fire and any casualties are not yet known.
The Zioneer first reported on the tenth consecutive night of US strikes on Iran at 23:20 Jerusalem on Monday, with explosions reported in Shiraz and other southern cities. Minutes later, unverified footage and images emerged showing the strike on Mount Drak. Journalist Asaf Rozentzweig shared images, and subsequent footage purportedly showed the attack at 00:10 Jerusalem time. By 23:20 Monday, Israeli security analyst Yair Goldberg, citing Iranian sources, reported that the strike had targeted a 'Najm' type radar system. That claim remains unverified.
The strike on Mount Derak was part of the tenth consecutive night of US strikes on Iranian military targets, as The Zioneer has reported. The US has been conducting sustained operations against Iran's military infrastructure.
