The statement comes one day after prosecutors filed an indictment against seven suspects in the case at 21:06 Jerusalem on Thursday.

Six suspects are charged with premeditated murder, including Avior Sasson, who was on the run for two weeks before his arrest. The case has been unfolding since July, with the first arrests on July 19, when a court extended the detention of one suspect. On July 22, three female suspects had their detention extended by eight days; on July 23, two additional suspects were arrested, including a relative of the main suspect; and on August 4, prosecutors filed statements of intent to indict. The formal indictment was filed on August 6.
