At around 16:08 Jerusalem, reports emerged of an Israeli Navy submarine surfacing close to the shore in Eilat, witnessed by bathers on the beach. The IDF censor approved footage of the submarine departing Eilat, and the Navy later stated the vessel is operating in the area as part of routine activity. The submarine sighted near the beach appears to be the same vessel that the IDF confirmed deploying to the region.
