Israeli police on Wednesday released drone footage of a joint counter-narcotics operation that took place on July 17 near the border opposite Kfar Ruppin. The operation, conducted by the YMR North Border Unit, IDF forces, and the Magav YS (Border Police Judea and Samaria), led to the arrest of three suspects from Rahat. Authorities seized approximately 70 kilograms of what is believed to be hashish, packed in several bundles.
The suspects were taken for questioning by the Northern District Investigative Unit (YMR North), and a prosecutor's statement was subsequently filed at the Nazareth Magistrate's Court. The case was first reported by The Zioneer earlier on Wednesday, when an indictment filing was announced. The new footage, captured by a police drone, shows the suspects being surrounded and arrested in the open area near the border fence.
