Israeli media report new recordings of threats made before the murder of attorney Arbel Feldman. The recordings include the speaker saying 'I'll take care of everyone, I'm a big psychopath.'
New recordings released tonight in the murder case of attorney Arbel Feldman contain the suspect threatening, 'I'll take care of everyone, I'm a big psychopath.' The recordings, reported by Israeli media, emerge hours after the desk reported on the suspect's detention extension and previous recordings of a financial dispute.
The story began Tuesday afternoon, when The Zioneer reported that Feldman was murdered in his Rishon LeZion office, with his partner hearing an intruder followed by gunfire. The suspect, Ahmed Al-Rajoub, turned himself in. Later Tuesday, recordings surfaced showing a dispute over 10,000–15,000 shekels between Feldman and Al-Rajoub, whom he had represented in a minor tort claim. By Wednesday, Al-Rajoub allegedly threatened to kill a cellmate, leading to a detention extension until August 16.
According to The Zioneer's archival reporting, Feldman had represented Al-Rajoub in a car accident lawsuit that settled for about 23,000 shekels three weeks before the murder. The suspect's threats against a cellmate were reported by i24NEWS.
The identity of the speaker in the new recordings has not been officially confirmed. It remains unclear when the recordings were made and whether they were made by the suspect or another party. The investigation continues.
