The terrorist was identified by the IDF as Abd al-Rahim Kardi, a deputy cell commander in Hamas's military wing who also served as a doctor at Shifa Hospital. The IDF and Shin Bet announced his elimination earlier Friday, following initial reports from ynet. The operation took place on Thursday in the Gaza City area.
