Ukrainian air defense intercepted at least 14 missiles — one of the lowest interception rates in recent months. Primary targets included military sites in Kyiv, with additional strikes reported in Dnipro, Kharkiv, and near Bila Tserkva.

01 · THE DISPATCH

Overnight, Russia conducted a large-scale combined missile and drone attack against Ukraine, launching approximately 74 missiles, according to a detailed military analysis channel. The barrage included roughly 34 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, 24 Kh-101 cruise missiles, 10 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles, and 6 Iskander-K cruise missiles, launched from strategic bombers, ground-based installations in Crimea, and multiple launch sites across Bryansk, Kursk, and other western Russian oblasts.

Ukrainian air defenses intercepted at least 14 missiles — 6 Kh-101s, 5 Iskander-M/S-400s, 2 Iskander-Ks, and 1 Zircon — one of the lowest interception rates Ukraine has recorded in recent months, the source assessed. The primary target was Ukrainian military infrastructure in Kyiv, including a Nova Poshta warehouse in the southwest of the city. Additional targets in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and near Bila Tserkva (Kyiv Oblast) are being clarified, though a lack of NASA FIRMS satellite data is hindering assessment.

This is the latest in a series of Russian long-range strikes this week. As The Zioneer reported earlier today (Mon 01:34 Jerusalem), two Russian Tu-95MS bombers launched cruise missiles toward Ukraine, and a previous bulletin (Mon 02:06) documented a massive overnight attack on Kyiv and other cities. The current barrage appears to be a distinct, follow-up wave, with a higher proportion of ballistic and hypersonic munitions than recent strikes. No casualty figures have been reported yet.
