TL;DR

New satellite imagery obtained by CNN and analyzed by the American Institute for Scientific Research reveals Iran is actively rebuilding the Talegan 2 nuclear site inside the Parchin military complex, according to reporting by Moriah Asraf and Doron Kadosh (N13 / Army Radio). The IDF struck the site twice, most recently during "Operation Roaring Lion" some four months ago. Recent images show debris cleared and the site being reinforced with concrete to complicate future strikes. The report comes a week after satellite images indicated activity at Iran's secret underground Mount Makush facility near Natanz.

01 · THE DISPATCH

New satellite imagery broadcast by CNN and analyzed by the American Institute for Scientific Research shows Iran actively rebuilding the Talegan 2 nuclear site within the Parchin military complex, as reported by Moriah Asraf and Doron Kadosh (N13 / Army Radio).

The IDF struck Talegan 2 twice during the current conflict: first in October 2024, and again during "Operation Roaring Lion" approximately four months ago. According to the IDF, the site was used in recent years to develop advanced explosives and conduct sensitive experiments connected to Iran's covert nuclear weapons program – specifically the weaponization phase, the most advanced stage of bomb-building.

The latest satellite images, from the past several days, reveal that in early June Iranian crews removed debris and rubble from the site and cleared it. Since then, construction activity has included pouring concrete to reinforce the structure – a measure intended to complicate any future strike – and sealing damage and holes caused by the Israeli bombings.

The report follows satellite imagery released last week indicating activity at Iran's secret underground Mount Makush nuclear facility near Natanz, where Tehran is believed to operate a deep-mountain nuclear site whose exact function remains unclear. As The Zioneer reported on July 10–11, satellite imagery in recent weeks has shown widespread activity at multiple Iranian nuclear and missile sites, potentially testing U.S.-Iran status-quo understandings.
