By 06:59 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported that police had confirmed a fragmentation grenade was thrown, causing light damage to a window. Within the same minute, the target was identified as the U Towers residential complex, and police stated they suspected a criminal motive. That evolution — from unconfirmed explosions to a confirmed fragmentation grenade at a specific address with a crime feud suspicion — unfolded within the same hour.
The current attacks are part of a broader pattern of violence between the two organizations.
