The operation, conducted under the Samaria Brigade, included the mapping of the shooter's home (he was eliminated at the scene) and the home of the accomplice who stole the weapon and was later arrested in Nablus by Duvdevan forces. The mapping is a preliminary step toward temporary sealing of the homes, followed by demolition pending security recommendations. The attack on Friday claimed the lives of Maj. Yuval Ezra and Sgt. Maj. (res.) Binyahu Melat. The IDF Chief of Staff has vowed to reach all involved.
