Attorney Nati Rom of Honenu criticized the investigation, stating that the soldier was the victim and that the video evidence clearly shows he was attacked. The soldier was released at the end of the questioning. The incident echoes previous cases in which Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria were investigated after defending themselves, including a Samaria farmer released last month after a judge criticized the police case.
