The attack comes after earlier today (Sun 09:28 Jerusalem) The Zioneer reported on a separate incident in which a bus driver was assaulted by a group of youths in the Ramot neighborhood, suffering four broken teeth and losing consciousness. That driver later recounted fearing for his life and losing consciousness for about two minutes. Police launched an investigation into that incident as well.
Violence against bus drivers in Jerusalem has been a recurring concern.
