Four people, including three children, were wounded in moderate-to-serious condition in a fire in Tayibe on Friday morning, according to reports.
At 10:01 Jerusalem, The Zioneer's latest update now describes the condition of the four wounded in the Tayibe fire — three children and a woman — as moderate-to-serious, a revision from earlier reports that had placed three of the victims in serious condition.
The Zioneer's first reports at 09:00 Jerusalem initially said three children were rescued from a burning building in Tayibe, with fire crews continuing to search. Minutes later, MDA stated that four people were injured, three in serious condition (two children and a woman aged 30) and one in moderate condition, evacuated to Meir and Beilinson hospitals. A subsequent update at 09:00 Jerusalem identified the children as a 7-year-old girl, a 7-year-old boy, and a 5-year-old boy, alongside a 30-year-old woman. Paramedics later described the scene, saying they saw "black and thick smoke rising from a house" and that bystanders had already pulled the victims out. At 09:41 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported the paramedics' account in detail.
The fire broke out at a private home in Tayibe on Friday morning, with MDA responding at 08:29. The response involved fire and rescue crews from the Sharon station. The injuries were due to smoke inhalation.
