01 · THE DISPATCH

A wave of US strikes has hit multiple locations across southern Iran, targeting Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) infrastructure, according to Iranian and international reports and US official sources. As of 01:21 Jerusalem, explosions were reported in at least five cities: Chabahar, where the power grid collapsed and shrapnel reportedly struck a hospital; Konarak, where military and naval bases were hit; Sirik, where three additional explosions targeted commercial and military docks used by the IRGC; Bandar Abbas, where air defense systems were activated and flames were seen at Haqani port; and Bushehr, where fire was reported but local media affiliated with the regime (Nour News) claimed no damage to the nuclear reactor. US official sources said the target set included coastal radar systems, anti-ship missile batteries, warehouses of ready-to-launch drones, IRGC command posts, and fast boat departure docks.

The strikes follow a series of developments reported throughout the night. At 22:44 Jerusalem, initial reports emerged of explosions on Abu Musa Island and in the port city of Jask near the Strait of Hormuz. Shortly after, Iranian state television reported multiple explosions in Bandar Abbas and Jask. At 22:44, a US official confirmed ongoing strikes on Iranian military targets in the Strait of Hormuz, and CENTCOM announced it was carrying out precision strikes across Iran to protect freedom of navigation. At 23:57 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported that US strikes targeted Abu Musa Island and explosions were heard near Chabahar. At 00:02 Jerusalem, a senior US official confirmed a strike on IRGC bases and drone positions in Bushehr. The latest reports extend the scope of the operation to five cities.

The strikes are part of a broader US campaign ordered by the president to degrade Iran's ability to threaten freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, as The Zioneer reported at 22:44 Jerusalem. The operation has targeted coastal radar systems, anti-ship missile batteries, drone storage sites, IRGC command posts, and fast-boat piers, according to US official sources.

The reports remain unverified from independent sources, and Iranian state media has not commented on the full scope of the attacks. The extent of damage and casualties is not yet clear.
