TL;DR

The United States struck an IRGC naval base near the village of Tahrui, south of Sirik city in southern Iran, according to initial reports. Additional strikes hit the port cities of Bandar Lengeh and Bandar Kong near the Strait of Hormuz. The campaign, now in its fourth wave, continues to target Iranian military infrastructure along the coast.

01 · THE DISPATCH

The United States continues its sustained campaign against Iranian military infrastructure along the southern coast, with fresh strikes reported near Sirik and at two additional port cities. According to initial reports, approximately five American strikes targeted the area around the village of Tahrui, south of Sirik in Hormozgan Province. A naval base of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was hit, along with communication towers. Later reports indicate additional strikes on Bandar Lengeh and Bandar Kong, both port cities along the Strait of Hormuz.

The strikes come amid an ongoing US operation that The Zioneer reported earlier — an article published at 00:55 Jerusalem described a wave of US attacks on Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz, including a hit on a telecommunications tower near Sirik. The current reports expand the scope of strikes to include the Tahrui area and the two western ports. This development follows earlier US strikes that hit a petrochemical plant and the Sirik IRGC naval base, setting it ablaze, as well as a preliminary target list that included Sirik and Jask naval bases. The fire at the earlier-struck base was still ongoing as of 00:57 Thursday.

The Strait of Hormuz remains a flashpoint: Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters has declared the strait closed to all vessels and threatened to attack any ship attempting transit, as reported earlier. No assessment of damage or casualties is available yet from these latest strikes. The reports come from a single source channel and remain unverified by independent outlets, though they align with the pattern of the US campaign.
