The Zioneer reported in rapid succession early Saturday morning (Sat 04:36 Jerusalem) that the Houthis launched ballistic missiles and drones toward the kingdom; that missiles landed in the city of Jizan; that the Aramco refinery in Jazan was struck, with thick smoke rising; and that the attacks expanded to include targets in Yanbu province. Initial reports were unverified, but by the latest update, the Saudi energy ministry confirmed the refinery strike.
The Jazan refinery is a key facility near the Yemen border, an area where Houthi rebels have previously launched attacks on Saudi territory.
