National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said Friday morning, en route to the security cabinet meeting, that he will demand the IDF use airstrikes and D9 bulldozers to destroy homes of terrorists and their supporters in Judea and Samaria. 'The towns and villages of the murderers in Judea and Samaria have the same fate as Beit Hanoun in Gaza,' he said, citing the precedent from the operation in Gaza.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir released the full text of his statement Friday morning as he headed to the security cabinet meeting, following a terror attack. The Zioneer reported earlier (10:12) that Ben Gvir was en route to the cabinet. In the statement, Ben Gvir said: 'The towns and villages of the murderers in Judea and Samaria have the same fate as Beit Hanoun in Gaza. I am on my way to the Prime Minister for the security cabinet meeting, where I will demand that the IDF order the destruction from the air and with D9 bulldozers of the homes of terrorists and their supporters, and to exact from the terrorists the price they deserve. For every Jew murdered, the enemy must suffer loss of land and homes. This is the language spoken in the Middle East, and as we spoke it in Gaza, it is time to speak it also in Judea and Samaria.'
The statement comes amid heightened security tensions following the terror attack. Ben Gvir has previously called for aggressive retaliation measures. The security cabinet is expected to convene later Friday.
