A court extended the detention of two additional suspects in the murder of Beniahu Razi — a 16-year-old minor and an 18-year-old resident of Elad, according to N12. The development follows the earlier arrest of David Keren, 18, and comes as the main suspect, Avior Sasson, remains at large.
A court on Thursday extended the detention of two additional suspects in the murder of Beniahu Razi — a 16-year-old minor and an 18-year-old resident of Elad, according to N12. The extension follows the arrest of the pair earlier in the day, as reported by The Zioneer at 10:30 Jerusalem, and brings the number of suspects in custody to at least five.
As The Zioneer reported at 13:44 Jerusalem, the court also extended the detention of David Keren, 18, who is suspected of connecting the ex-girlfriend, Agam Tzrafi, and the 'mediator', Mazal Linor Shashon, to the perpetrators. The main suspect, Avior Sasson, 17, remains at large, police said on Wednesday evening.
The case has drawn significant public attention due to the involvement of multiple young suspects, including an active-duty IDF soldier. As The Zioneer reported on July 17, Tzrafi, 19, is an active-duty soldier who had a toxic relationship with Razi, which included mutual complaints. The investigation has also led to the detention of several other suspects, with courts extending their detention in recent weeks.
Still unresolved: Sasson's whereabouts remain unknown, and police continue to search for him. The investigation is ongoing.
