Earlier Tuesday, at 12:50 Jerusalem, police disclosed that they had found Dayan's shirt on Rokach Street in Petah Tikva, not far from where his vehicle was located. His mother, Shilat Na'im, told Channel 12 she fears someone is holding her son, while police said they are certain he is alive and have leads supporting that assessment. That development followed a series of updates: police had arrested two Dimona residents on suspicion of obstructing the investigation and conspiracy; the investigation had shifted between potential leads of a kidnapping and a hit-and-run; and a police source told N12 that the assessment that Dayan is on the run was strengthening. Dayan's final WhatsApp message to his partner, in which he said, "There's a mess, sweetie, heading back to town," was also revealed.
