However, as The Zioneer reported at 22:03 Thursday night, the commander was identified as Muhammad al-Yazouri (Abu al-Haytham), the head of Hamas's Khan Younis brigade. He was killed in a precision IDF strike near the al-Qasbah mosque in Khan Yunis, along with senior Hamas engineer Khadifa Ma'mar.
