An unverified report from Gaza, attributed to N12, says an Israeli strike hit a vehicle belonging to a security company near the British Hospital in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, killing three people. The affiliation of those killed has not been stated.
The latest report from Gaza, attributed to N12 journalist Sapir Lipkin, states that an Israeli strike hit a vehicle belonging to a security company near the British Hospital in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, killing three people. This development aligns with a series of reports that The Zioneer has been tracking since 16:16 Jerusalem today, when the first unverified indication of a vehicle attack emerged.
At 16:16 Jerusalem, an initial report described a vehicle belonging to the security detail of a humanitarian aid convoy being attacked. Shortly thereafter, Gaza sources cited by security analyst Yair Goldblatt reported three killed. A subsequent update identified the target as a jeep of the 'Ramal al-Sahra' security company in the Mawasi area, killed by an Israeli drone strike. Later, Yair Goldblatt released additional footage and identified the vehicle as a Hyundai Tucson jeep. The new N12 report adds the specific location near the British Hospital and attributes the information to a journalist on the ground.
The Zioneer has previously reported on Israeli strikes in the Khan Yunis area. On June 30, a UAV strike killed three in northern Khan Yunis. On July 6, a strike killed two in the Mawasi area. On July 9, a strike killed two in the Khan Yunis area. These reports remain based on Palestinian sources and have not been independently confirmed by the IDF.
The affiliation of the three people killed in today's strike has not been disclosed. The report remains unverified by independent channels, and the IDF has not issued a statement. It is not yet clear whether the vehicle was directly linked to aid convoy security or to other security arrangements.
