At 04:31 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported that Houthis had captured the port city of Al-Mukha and the towns of Hays, Al-Khawkha, and Yakhtul — bringing over 2,000 square kilometers of territory under their control in 24 hours. An analysis published at 01:44 Jerusalem had underscored the strategic significance of Camp Khalid, warning that its capture would give the Houthis a territorial corridor near the Red Sea coast, threatening shipping lanes and cutting off the city of Ta'izz from sea access.
