01 · THE DISPATCH
The Zioneer reports that IDF and police forces are preparing to demolish the last remaining UNRWA compound in the Jerusalem area, in Kafr Aqab near Qalandia. According to the report, UNRWA personnel have been evacuated from the compound. This follows the Israeli government's earlier efforts to dismantle another UNRWA compound in the Ma'alot Dafna neighborhood of Jerusalem, as The Zioneer reported in June. The operation, if carried out, would eliminate UNRWA's last operational base in Jerusalem.
