TL;DR

The 769th Brigade has completed an operation in the Dabin area, about 12 km north of Marjayoun in southern Lebanon, the IDF said. Forces struck over 50 targets with air support, dismantled dozens of terror infrastructures, located weapons caches, and eliminated more than 30 Hezbollah operatives during the weeks-long operation. The village was a significant Hezbollah stronghold used to plan attacks and anti-tank fire.

01 · THE DISPATCH

The IDF disclosed today, June 11 at 12:00 Jerusalem, that the 769th Brigade, under the 91st Division, concluded a weeks-long operation in the village of Dabin, approximately 12 kilometers north of Marjayoun and well beyond the forward defense line in southern Lebanon. During the operation, dubbed "Operation Roaring Lion," forces struck over 50 targets with Israeli Air Force support, dismantled dozens of terrorist infrastructure sites, located weapons caches, and eliminated more than 30 Hezbollah operatives from the air, the military said. The IDF stated that Dabin had been a major Hezbollah stronghold used to plan attacks and anti-tank missile fire against Israeli forces and communities.

The development builds on an initial disclosure earlier today at 12:00 Jerusalem, when the military first revealed that troops had raided the village weeks ago, locating "significant" weapons depots and striking about 50 Hezbollah sites. That initial report did not specify elimination numbers or name the operation; the current update provides the full scope—over 30 operatives killed, the operation's title, and the brigade-level details. Corroboration has remained consistent, sourced solely to the IDF spokesperson across both versions.

This operation is the latest in a series of brigade-level ground maneuvers the military has publicized in recent weeks. As The Zioneer reported on June 11 at 18:39 Jerusalem, the 7th Brigade and Egoz Unit completed an operation gaining operational control of Wadi al-Saluki, killing over 50 operatives. Earlier on June 11 at 07:13 Jerusalem, the 91st Division reported eliminating more than 35 terrorists in southern Lebanon over the past week. A June 4 background item noted the Lebanese Army deployed in Debbin after an IDF withdrawal, clearing debris for the return of the Shiite population.

No Israeli casualties were reported in the Dabin operation. The military published footage of the weapons storage facility and of aerial eliminations, as well as photos of seized weapons. The IDF's weekly operational summary, as reported on June 10 at 10:32 Jerusalem, cited approximately 310 Hezbollah targets struck and about 80 operatives killed across the theater, providing the wider context of ongoing pressure in the sector.
