The announcement follows The Zioneer's report earlier Sunday that the IDF eliminated Nukhba commander Abd al-Fattah Abu al-Aish, identified as a participant in the Oct. 7 infiltration, in a precision strike in the Jabaliya area of northern Gaza. It is not yet clear whether the current IDF statement refers to the same operation or a separate strike.
Eliminations of Nukhba commanders involved in the October 7 attack have continued in recent weeks as the IDF targets operatives rebuilding terror infrastructure in violation of the ceasefire, according to military statements.
