01 · THE DISPATCH

The IDF struck in the central Gaza Strip on Tuesday, killing Ahmad Abu Hin, a Hamas military wing sniper cell commander, and Mahmoud Walid Jabr Abu Hin, a Hamas operative. Both men infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre, the military stated. In recent months, they were involved in efforts to rebuild Hamas' terror capabilities in violation of the ceasefire, and posed an immediate threat to IDF troops operating in the area. The military said it used precise munitions and aerial surveillance to mitigate civilian harm.

This elimination follows a string of operations against October 7 infiltration commanders that The Zioneer has tracked since Wednesday. On Wednesday 14:16 Jerusalem, the IDF confirmed killing Muhammad Sa'id Ahmad Nimrouti, a Hamas platoon commander who held hostages in tunnels, and Mu'awiya Suleiman Saqr Ayadi, an Islamic Jihad platoon commander who infiltrated Kibbutz Be'eri — both killed in weekend operations. The military's account has since consolidated: initial reports of "Muhammad al-Namrouti" and "Muawiya al-Aidi" were corrected to the full names above by afternoon.

As The Zioneer reported on Sunday June 7, the IDF also eliminated Sakr Abu Karim, a Hamas Nukhba cell commander who led the infiltration into Kisufim during the October 7 massacre — part of a broader campaign against mid-level commanders who both participated in the October 7 attack and continued posing an active threat to troops in violation of the ceasefire.

The IDF has not stated whether the two Abu Hin operatives were among the infiltrators reported in the initial Tuesday strike alert; no on-record claim of responsibility from Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad has been published as of Wednesday evening. The military's statement on civilian-harm mitigation for this specific strike remains unverifiable outside IDF channels.
