Israeli forces eliminated Muhammad Nazam Izzat Za'id (29), a wanted terrorist, in the village of Al-Yamun west of Jenin, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. The body was taken into custody. A statement from the IDF is expected.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported Wednesday evening that Muhammad Nazam Izzat Za'id (29), identified as a wanted terrorist, was killed by Israeli forces in the village of Al-Yamun, west of Jenin, in the northern West Bank. The ministry added that the body was taken into Israeli custody. The IDF has not yet officially commented on the identity of the target or the circumstances of the operation. The killing follows an earlier operational activity in the Al-Yamun area at around 14:54, in which the Duvdevan unit eliminated a militant who posed an imminent threat to troops, as The Zioneer reported. It remains unclear whether Za'id was killed in a separate engagement or was the same target. The incident is developing.
