The report follows the IDF's own detailed publication earlier today at 11:48 Jerusalem, in which the military released a report and visual evidence showing how Hezbollah embedded thousands of terror infrastructure sites within civilian villages in southern Lebanon. The IDF report demonstrated the systematic use of the civilian population as cover, as The Zioneer reported at the time.
The discovery is part of ongoing IDF operations to dismantle Hezbollah's military network in southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire framework. The Zioneer has previously documented IDF strikes on Hezbollah targets, including the destruction of underground tunnels, rocket launchers, and weapons storage facilities, as well as the elimination of senior commanders. The Lebanese Armed Forces, through the trilateral mechanism, also located a Hezbollah weapons cache in the pilot area last month.
The full extent of the newly located sites and their operational status remain under review.
