The IDF says 970 soldiers have fallen in operational circumstances since October 7, 2023, and 70% of soldiers wounded in the war have returned to service. Its figures also count about 100,000 targets struck across several theaters and more than 31,000 launches toward Israel.
The IDF's figures attribute about 65,000 strikes to Gaza, 28,000 to Lebanon and Syria combined, 4,500 to Iran and 80 to Yemen. It lists about 10,200 launches from Gaza, 20,000 from Lebanon, 1,200 from Iran, 50 from Syria and 90 from Yemen. The figures were released for the anniversary of October 7.
In a separate earlier report on Wednesday, October 7, The Zioneer reported that a commemorative post listed 1,318 fallen security personnel and 1,029 civilians murdered in the October 7 massacre and its aftermath. That report also said all 251 abductees had been returned to Israel.
