The IDF announced that forces from the 551st Brigade eliminated seven Hezbollah operatives operating inside an underground route in southern Lebanon, using air force, artillery, and drones. The military said the route was used to store weapons and supplies for attacks on Israeli troops.
The IDF's announcement at 17:26 Jerusalem detailed a week-long operation by the 551st Brigade under Division 91 in southern Lebanon. Forces identified two Hezbollah cells of seven operatives operating from an underground route used to store ammunition, mortars, and food.
The operatives were eliminated inside the route through coordinated fire from the Israeli Air Force, artillery, and drones. After the strike, troops found Kalashnikov rifles and military equipment on the operatives, as well as launch positions and additional weapons dismantled nearby.
As The Zioneer reported at 17:55, this is the latest in a series of IDF operations degrading Hezbollah's ground infrastructure in southern Lebanon since the ceasefire. The previous bulletin noted strikes on over 70 Hezbollah sites in the past 24 hours. The military has not reported any Israeli casualties in this operation.
