Israeli forces struck Hezbollah infrastructure in the Al-Mansouri area of southern Lebanon, according to a report. The extent of damage and any casualties have not been reported.
The IDF confirmed a strike on Hezbollah infrastructure in the Al-Mansouri area of southern Lebanon on Saturday afternoon, after a series of escalating reports. The confirmation came at 15:35 Jerusalem, following a sequence of reports that began with a single fighter jet strike at 14:30 Jerusalem, then at least four airstrikes on the same village, and later reports of casualties from Lebanese sources. The target is located outside the Israeli-declared security zone, near the coastal town of Ras al-Bayada.
Earlier on Saturday, at 14:30 Jerusalem, initial Lebanese reports described a single fighter jet strike in Al-Mansouri. Within the same hour, at least four airstrikes were reported in the village by Abu Ali Express, followed by reports from N13's Moriah Asraf and Doron Kadosh of an additional strike outside the security zone. Lebanese sources then reported casualties from the strikes, though the number and affiliation of those hit have not been specified. The IDF's confirmation at 15:35 Jerusalem marks the first official Israeli acknowledgment of the operation.
The strikes are part of a sustained Israeli campaign against Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon, which has been ongoing for months. As The Zioneer reported on June 29, the IDF said forces were actively destroying Hezbollah terror infrastructure in the region, and footage released on June 10 showed continued strikes on the group's assets in the Tyre area.
It remains unclear what specific infrastructure was targeted in Al-Mansouri, the extent of damage, and the number and affiliation of casualties reported by Lebanese sources. The IDF has not provided further details on the operation.
