Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed its naval wing attacked the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain with drones at 02:30 local time, in retaliation for American 'self-defense' strikes on Iranian air-defense sites near the Strait of Hormuz. A US official said at least four ballistic missiles and several drones were later launched from Iran toward US bases in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain; Jordan's military reported its air defenses intercepted five missiles headed for Al-Azraq base with no casualties. The Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters warned heavier strikes would follow if US attacks continue.
