The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it struck American targets in Bahrain and Jordan overnight, in retaliation for U.S. strikes on Iranian air-defense systems, ground control stations, and radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. Central Command confirmed it had struck those Iranian installations earlier in the night, in response to the downing of a U.S. Apache helicopter this week. The extent of damage from the IRGC's claimed strikes is not yet confirmed.
