Ambassador to the U.S. Yehiel Leiter published a detailed log of Hezbollah attacks from June 17–18, listing dozens of rockets, explosive drones, and an attempted infiltration — arguing the group is violating the ceasefire in real time. The post does not announce a new Israeli policy change.
Israel's Ambassador to the United States, Yehiel Leiter, posted a detailed enumeration of Hezbollah attacks on June 17 and June 18, intended to demonstrate that the organization is actively violating the ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon.
The log for June 17 records over 20 separate incidents, beginning at 10:15 with an explosive device and continuing throughout the day with multiple salvos of rockets (9, 2, 6, 3, 5, 5, 2, 5, 4, 6, 6 rockets) and guided missiles. The June 18 entry, covering early morning hours, documents five militants approaching the forward defense line at 01:00 and four explosive drone incursions between 06:57 and 08:23, followed by an explosive device detonation at 08:51.
The ambassador's statement, published on his social media channels, does not include new policy announcements or operational directives. As The Zioneer reported on Friday (June 19, 07:19 Jerusalem), Leiter previously stated that Israel remains committed to the ceasefire — but that Hezbollah's violations put the agreement under strain. The post reinforces his earlier warning that continued rocket and drone fire breaks the terms of the arrangement.
