Earlier in the night, initial reports from Israeli media outlet N12 at 03:33 Jerusalem time listed five killed and 23 wounded. The Zioneer Intelligence Desk soon reported six killed, five of them in Kyiv, and noted damage to civilian facilities including a hospital and a school. A separate report from i24NEWS confirmed at least five dead. A detailed account of the attack described a salvo of approximately 75 cruise and ballistic missiles — including Kh-101, Zircon, Kalibr, and Iskander-M — of which at least 38 were intercepted by Ukrainian air defense, according to the report.
The Zioneer has chronicled a series of heavy Russian strikes on the Ukrainian capital. On July 2, a combined barrage killed 13 in Kyiv. On July 6, nine were killed in a drone and missile attack.
