The Pentagon published footage documenting the destruction of more than 90 targets in Iran overnight Wednesday–Thursday, the second consecutive night of U.S. strikes. CENTCOM said the targets included air defense systems, coastal surveillance, missile and drone storage sites, naval capabilities, and military logistics infrastructure along Iran's coast. The strikes follow 80 targets hit the previous evening on July 8, as The Zioneer reported earlier today.
The Pentagon on Thursday released video footage documenting the destruction of more than 90 targets in Iran during the overnight strikes, the second consecutive night of U.S. operations. The footage, released Thursday morning, shows precision strikes on air defense systems, coastal surveillance sites, missile and drone storage facilities, naval capabilities, and logistics infrastructure, according to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). The strikes add to 80 targets hit the previous evening, July 8.
The Zioneer first reported on the second night of strikes at 07:56 Jerusalem, initially citing a single-source report of approximately 90 targets. Within minutes, CENTCOM confirmed the strikes and detailed the target types, including air defense and storage sites, while the IRGC claimed retaliatory attacks on Bahrain. Earlier that morning, at 06:11 Jerusalem, The Zioneer reported that U.S. Special Operations Command confirmed the first night's strikes on 90 targets, bringing the total to 170 targets in 48 hours, including 60 IRGC small boats and coastal infrastructure. The Pentagon video release provides the first official visual documentation of the second night's operations.
The strikes are part of an ongoing U.S. air campaign against Iranian military infrastructure, as The Zioneer has reported in recent weeks. CENTCOM said the operation was in response to the IRGC's targeting of commercial shipping. President Trump stated that Iran is "desperate for a deal" but that the ceasefire is over, at least temporarily.
The Pentagon has not yet released a detailed battle damage assessment, and Iranian officials have not commented on the footage. The three reported killed in Ahvaz, per Iranian state media, remain unverified by independent sources.
