In the first incident, Golani Brigade reconnaissance troops identified and killed five Hezbollah operatives in Zawtar al-Sharqiya. In the second, Commando Brigade soldiers spotted a Hezbollah operative on the Ali al-Taher Ridge, and the Israeli Air Force struck the target, killing him.
The Ali al-Taher Ridge has been a focal point of recent engagements: as The Zioneer reported minutes earlier (21:24), the IDF killed six Hezbollah operatives there in two incidents. The pattern of clashes at this strategic ridge — which overlooks Israeli communities near the border — has persisted for days, with the military stating it controls the ridge and will prevent operatives from reaching the underground tunnel network beneath it.
