The IDF reported approximately 310 strikes in Lebanon over the past week, the elimination of five senior terrorists in Gaza, and more than 50 arrests in Judea and Samaria, according to the military's official statement.
The IDF's weekly operational summary, published at 10:02 Jerusalem, details simultaneous operations across three fronts. In the Northern Command, approximately 310 Hezbollah targets were struck and some 80 terrorists were eliminated in southern Lebanon, as ground troops continued clearing operations along the forward defence line.
In the Southern Command (Gaza), over 20 terrorists were eliminated, including three senior Islamic Jihad operatives and a Hamas funds-transfer commander and his deputy. The summary lists five terrorists as 'significant' – a category the IDF uses for high-value targets; the broader figure of 'over 20' includes all operatives killed in the sector that week.
In the Central Command, more than 50 wanted suspects were apprehended in Judea and Samaria and a large cache of weapons and approximately 250,000 shekels intended for terrorism were seized. This marks the second consecutive weekly summary showing a decline in Lebanon strike numbers from approximately 650 last week, as the IDF adjusts its operational tempo.
