01 · THE DISPATCH

Iran has stated it will not abandon its allies for economic incentives, rejecting a reported offer of benefits in exchange for refraining from striking Israel, according to unverified reports circulating in Persian-language channels and cited by Israeli media Monday evening. The claim emerges after our earlier reporting at 20:57 that Iran had rejected a Trump administration cash-for-restraint proposal and vowed to retaliate "very soon."

The initial report, published at 20:57 Jerusalem, cited an Israeli source stating Iran rejected a proposal from US President Donald Trump to release substantial funds in exchange for forgoing retaliation. A subsequent version at the same time, attributed to N12 journalist Yaron Avraham, added that Iran vowed to respond "very soon." The current report, from unofficial channels, introduces the element of not abandoning allies but lacks official corroboration — the earlier versions also lacked on-record confirmation from Iranian, US, or Israeli authorities.

As The Zioneer reported previously, Iran had denied the existence of any agreement (Jun 11, 21:01 Jerusalem) and a source close to the Iranian negotiating team stated Iran sent no new proposal to the US (Jun 9, 22:30 Jerusalem). A report from Jun 12, 00:46 Jerusalem indicated Iranians mocked Trump over nuclear deal talk. These precedents show consistent Iranian pushback against reported diplomatic arrangements.

At this stage, no official confirmation of the new claim has been provided by Iranian, US, or Israeli sources, and the nature and origin of the purported offer remain unclear.
