Sirens sounded in the 'finger of the Galilee' (Etzba HaGalil) early this morning over a suspected hostile aircraft infiltration, according to reports. Residents were instructed to enter protected spaces. No reports of interceptions, casualties, or the end of the incident have been issued yet.
Sirens were activated in the Finger of the Galilee (Etzba HaGalil) at approximately 03:02 Jerusalem over a suspected hostile aircraft infiltration, according to unconfirmed reports. The alert, covering communities in the area, prompted residents to enter protected spaces.
This is the latest in a series of drone and suspected aircraft infiltration alerts in the northern sector over recent days. As The Zioneer reported on June 12, a similar alert occurred at 04:50, also in the Galilee Finger, amid concerns of a hostile drone infiltration; the Home Front Command later declared that incident over. On June 13, approximately three launches were reported toward Metula and Misgav Am.
At this stage, the IDF has not released official confirmation of the nature of the threat, or whether any interception was carried out. No casualties have been reported, and details remain under assessment.
